Scene MagazinesScene Magazines are local guides containing lots of useful information covering everything the tourist needs to know. As people are increasingly planning their own holidays they don't have the back-up of a travel rep in town to help them when they arrive so Scene Magazines offer information on a variety of issues from simple things like using the phone, sending postcards, hiring a car to more serious issues such as what to do in an emergency. There's also a useful local map and details about a variety of businesses and services of interest to tourists and residents alike, such as bars & restaurants, estate agents, hire services etc. Scene Magazines are distributed free of charge throughout the resorts and are not only used by English-speaking tourists, but also by property owners and local residents who want to know what's happening around town throughout the year. Summer editions are published monthly between April and October. During the Winter there is one edition covering the months November to March. Scene OnlineIn addition to the magazines there are also accompanying web sites helping tourists access all the information they need before they arrive. As a result of increasing requests from tourists for copies of the magazines to be posted to them prior to arrival, it's now possible to view and download the current editions directly from the web sites, allowing our advertisers to reach their potential clients even before they arrive on Mallorca! All advertisers in the magazines also receive a free listing on the relevant page of the accompanying web site (including a link to their site where applicable). |
